NZ Hydraulic Fracturing speech finalist in Sir Paul Callaghan Awards
Thomas Moore is a third year student of geology, finance and management at the University of Otago and has a keen interest in the oil and gas industry.
He was a finalist in the Sir Paul Callaghan Awards recently held in Wellington.
NB: This is a speech competition where the theme is to connect an area of science to economic and social development in New Zealand.
Thomas' presentation focused on how encouraging and developing hydraulic fracturing (fracking) would benefit NZ.
